Introduction
Workers, in the highly expansive
vineyard of God, know that we are workers together with God. This work is our
mission on earth. His work must be done on his own terms, in his own ways, and
for his own results. In this glorious work of eternal rewards, we have with us
God the Father, God the Son, and God the holy Ghost. God the Father is here with
us, God the Son is praying for us, and God the holy ghost is teaching us all things.
We have the attention of heaven at all times. We have the sanctuary of God and
the holy of holiest open to us. What is more, we carry the name of Jesus that
is unstoppable. Winner are we all round in Jesus’ name.

In this bible study outline for workers, we have twelve subtopics spanning the entire bible from Genesis to Revelation. The bible is our textbook from where we quoted copiously and relevantly. Study them and be a dedicated doer of the word. Be determined to dedicate yourself to the disciples’ mission on earth. If yea know these things and do them, happy are yea.
1.0 Our Mission on Earth Must Command
Our Zeal
Opening Verse: 7 And seek the peace of the city
whither I have caused you to be carried away captives and pray unto the Lord
for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace. Jeremiah 29:7
Bible Text: JEREMAIH 29:1-10
More Texts: Gen 26:12-14; Josh 1:7-9; 1Chro 4:9-10;
28:9; Ezra 7:10; Neh 1:2-4; Est 10:3; Job 23:12; Psa 1:1-3; 39:4-6; 90:10,12; Jer
29:11-14; Dan 4:27; 9:2; Zech 8:19; Matt 28:18-20; Mark 9:50;16:12-15; Luke
19:10,13; John 14:12; Acts 1:8; 6:4; 28:23-24,31; Rom 1:1-11; 1Tim 2:1-2; Rev 1:5-6;
Message Of the Day: Every child of God have mission on
earth. Jesus Christ commissioned us for the mission. Let it be very clear to us
that we are to attend to this mission with zeal. It is a good thing to be
seriously preoccupied with what God has commissioned us for. The lord said, be
occupied till I come. Jesus Christ is our peace . After he has saved us, he
wants us to be used to save others as long as we are here. Seeking the peace of
this land of our sojourn, means bringing Christ to the people. For
the son of man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 19:10. And he called his ten servants, and
delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come. Luke 19:13.
Go yea into all the world.
Paul made some strong remarkable statement, that reveal his
commission, mission and his uncompromising zeal and comprehensiveness. Paul
said: Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle,
separated unto the gospel of God. Romans 1:1. We are the call of Jesus
Christ, who are called to be saints and that with the grace of Christ to be
obedient and to be holiness unto our God. In his follow-up campaign, Paul prays
without season. Paul wrote: For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit
in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in
my prayers. Romans1:9. We are called to pray for our land of sojourn. No wonder
the apostle said, we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the
ministry of the word.
Our mission on earth is defined by God himself. We shall
not be a failure in Jesus’s name. It is interesting that seventy years were
mentioned as the period. Isreal would spend in captivity. God told them to know
this fact. And that they should multiply and not diminished. They should build
houses and have vineyard. In other word sluggard-ness and idleness are out of
it. This also must be out of your life in the land of the living to gloriously
and zealously fulfill you on earth. The bible says we have seventy years here,
and this can be extended by reason of strength and in Christ this can be
extended. The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by
reason of strength they be fourscore years yet is their strength
labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Psalms 90:10. Pray
this prayer with the palmist, so teach us to number our days that we may apply
our heart unto wisdom.
From You To God: O lord my God, make me an exceeding success on our
mission on earth in Jesus’s name.
Application: Sluggard-ness, Idleness and Diminishing
must not be allowed in our mission on earth.
Footnote: Work the work of Christ and greater works.
2.0 The Severe Consequences of Sin
Opening Verse: That
which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust
hath left hath the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left
hath the caterpillar eaten. Joel 1:4
Bible Text: JOEL 1:1-12

105:34; Isa 32:15; 33:4; Jer 51:14, 27; Eze 37:14; Joel 2:25; Amos 4:9; Nahum
3:15-17; zec 13:1; Rev 9:3-7
Message of the Day: The
writers of the bible documented generously the severe consequences of sin. They
speak as they were moved by the Holy ghost. No wonder their writing which
spanned different generations showed amazing coherency. they wrote from different
background, culture and age. The bible is a great book to consult when it comes
to taming man’s appetite for iniquity. Obviously, with no iota of contradiction
the authors of this great book were very open when it comes to consequences of
sin. In one day, Saul the first monarch of Israel died along with his son
Jonathan in battle. Saul iniquity caused all this to happen. We make bold to
declare that with Christ sin is avoidable in all its ramifications. Overcome
temptation to sin, let not temptation to overcome you. Attend to no compromise
in this matter. Sin has severe consequences.
Joel the son of Pethuel who spake the word of God, revealing severe
consequences of sin started his message by advocating passing the message to
even generations to come. He spake to all men and even to all inhabitants of
the land. He said: Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell
their children, and their children another generation. That which the
palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust hath left
hath the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpillar
eaten. Joel 1:3-4. The drunkards are called to awake and weep. The drunkards of
wine are called to howl. What we can immediately understand here is that
whatever a man is giving unto as a practice to satisfy the flesh will be tamed
in the severe consequences of sin. Drunkards will miss new wine for it shall
not be available.
Joel
predicted the Chaldean’s invasion of the land, it is part of severe
consequences of sin. The enemy quickly take the upper hand. Let us know that it
is not the will of God for the enemy to succeed over His children. The enemies
are merciless. God even raise concern as to His children falling into the hands
of the enemies. God said concerning the envision of the enemy: For a nation is come up upon my land, strong,
and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth
of a great lion. Joel 1:6. Part of the severe consequences of sin is wasted
labour or labour to the wind. No invitation should be giving to consequences of
sin.
From You to
God: the consequences of sin are in the realm of severity, I say irreversible
No to iniquity in Jesus’ name.
Application:
under sin even the land mourns.
Footnote: hearken to the Lord
despise not any of His word.
3.0 Workers Do the Needful for Revival
Opening Verse: Therefore
also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with
fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: Joel 2:12
Bible Text: JOEL 2:12-21
More Texts: Dt 4:29-30;
Judges 20:26; 1sam 7:3; 1king 8:47-49; 2chr 6:38-39; 7:13-14; Neh 9:1-2; Isa
22:12; 55:6-7; Jer 4:1; 29:11-13; Lam
3:40-41; Hos 6:1; 12:6; Zec 1:3-4; Act 6:18-20; 2cor 6:2; James 4:8-9;
Message of the Day:
Revival is a project of now. What do you do to bring revival in the now? now is the day of salvation tomorrow may be
too late. The Holy spirit uses prophet Joel to outline those things that
bringeth revival. We also see in his message the great gains of revival. Before
we delve into those things that bring revival in the now, let us pause to make
a brief remark of things that make revival a necessity. Revival is necessary in
personal, community and national life. when things are not going the way, it
ought to go. When people become engulf in iniquity. When worldliness has taken
the center stage of life. when insatiable vanity becomes the other of the day.
When God is no longer first in the work and thought of man. When the devil has
drawn many into his captivity. When backsliding continue to eat deep to the
fabrics of the larger majority.
The Holy spirit says
therefore now turn ye to me with all your heart. This is important. Turn to God
with your total being. Seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul says
the bible. Consider fasting it is the godly way to connect with God to bring
renewal and revival. Deepest repentance bringeth highest revival. The Holy
spirit says through the prophet of God Joel the son of Pethuel turn to God with
weeping and mourning. And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto
the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great
kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. Joel 2:13. Stamp your life with understanding
of the goodness of God. turn to God in the now His act will be inclined unto
you to make the take-off of revival. Revival is indeed a necessity for
degenerating life. degeneration will not be your portion in Jesus’ name.
Let us now consider the gains of revival.
Revival is total. It manifests in the rank and file of the people. There is
this just mass seeking of God: the elders, the children, those that suck the
breast, the bridegroom and the bride,
the priest, the ministers of God even take the lead in the solemnity of
expectation of revival. Then will the Lord be jealous for his land and
pity his people. Joel 2:18. Plenteousness will visit the land, reproach will be
a thing of the past. Rejoice and be glad God will do great things as outcome of
revival. Turn to God in the now.
From You to God: lord
God I turn unto thee make revival in its fulness of blessing my portion in Jesus’
name.
Application: revival is
a worthy pursuit in the now.
Footnote: Let us search and try
our ways and turn again to the Lord.
4.0 Write Vision
Opening Verse: And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the
vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
Habakkuk 2:2
Bible Text: HABAKKUK
2:1-10
More Texts: Gen 15:1; dt
27:8; 31:19; Pro 29:18; Isa 8:1; 21:2; 30:8; Jer 24:3; 36:2, 27-29; Dan 12:4;
Lk 19:10; John 16:25; Act 1:7-8; Rom 15:4; Heb 10:16-17; 11:1-2; Rev 1:18-19;
14:13; 21:5
Message of the Day:
Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 2 is a
popular verse in the Old
Testament. Write the vision was the Lord word to Habakkuk. He was not only to
write the vision, but he was also to make it readable. The vision must be
written upon tables. Then come this powerful word to Habakkuk that he may run
that readeth it. Impactful Writings bring
determination for quantum jump. Many has truly run with visions. That is
they have implemented visions with speed and dynamism, and they have wonderful
testimonies to show and share for it. As God given you a vision in the way of
life everlasting? Write the vision. Writing maketh the thought of man
permanent. It is a good thing to cultivate the habit of writing. A vision
written is capable of blessing many in the days to come. Authors must not
relent in the service of writing. The Holy Spirit will always speak through his
own in writing.
Habakkuk was one prophet
that tends to look at the angle of vindication of God. his book was a
conversation between him and God. in his conversation with God, he was ready to
receive from God. will God reprove him especially concerning issues he has raised.
I will stand upon my watch and set me upon the towers, so he said. Get into the
habit of what God will say unto you. The bible says: Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of
God and be more ready to hear. Habakkuk was not disappointed God spake unto
him. Habakkuk wrote the experience. We read: I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon
the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall
answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the
vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
Habakkuk 2:1-2.
Write the vision. The
vision of Nehemiah was to build the wall of Jerusalem and to save the people of
God from shame and reproach. He and the people of God ran with the vision and
accomplished the building of the wall of Jerusalem in record time. Even In
fifty-two days. Without vision the people perish. Ezra vision was the building
of the temple of God in Jerusalem. The hand of the Lord was upon him for good.
Unusual favour gravitated towards him. We have a great vision from our lord
Jesus Christ who came to seek and to save the lost. It is great vision with
great commission. Run with the vision it is global.
From You to God: My
loving father let me run with the vision of the great commission in Jesus’s
name.
Application: Jesus said
ye are my disciples if ye bear much fruit.
Footnote: this gospel of
the kingdom must be preached to all nations.
5.0 Yet Will I Joy in The God of My
Salvation
Opening Verse: Yet I
will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. Habakkuk 3:18
Bible Text: HABAKKUK
3:11-19
More Texts: Dt 12:18;
1sam 2:1; Ps 33:1; 43:4; 46:1-5; 71:14; 85:6; 90:14; 97:12; 118:24; Isa 41:16;
61:10; Zec 10:7; Matt 5:11-12; Lk 1:46-47; Rom 5:2; Php 4:4; James 1:2, 9-10;
1pet 4:13;
Message of the Day: The
term ‘yet I will rejoice’ reminds us that our joy cannot be stopped. This is
very important to every child of God in this world of myriads of circumstances
and issues. The joy of the Lord which ministers strength is the portion of
every believer. This is the day that the Lord has made. Our pledge before God
on this day is that I will rejoice. It is God that make the day, The devil will
not make any of our day in Jesus’s name. the bible taught us so much on
rejoicing. The righteous shall be glad and rejoice. Satisfy us early with thy
mercy that we may rejoice all our days. My soul rejoices in the God of my
salvation, Hannah declared. Find grounds of joy, promote grounds of joy.
Mitigate and outlaw issues that is running counter to your joy. Ours is
unlimited joy in our limitless Lord. Even when men say odd things against us
and raise same to the point of persecution, the Lord told us to rejoice
greatly. Our joy at all times is a landmark of sorrow to our adversaries.
Outsmart worry, bring
praises to your mouth and sing for joy. Make this habitual. Yet will I praise
the God of my salvation Habakkuk the prophet found solution for hard time. He
said: Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the
vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the
stalls. Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:17-18. The Lord is my strength was the word of the prophet of
Shigionoth. The Lord is able to make our feet like hind feet, His able to make
us ride upon our high places. With joy wait upon this God, let Him surprise you
by moving to place you on the platform of joy and rejoicing. It is the perfect
will of God that your joy cross boundaries.
Yet will I rejoice is a
refrain that must not be wanting on our lips. Rejoice always the Holy spirit
instructed. Hope in the Lord for you yet praise Him more and more. Hear what
God did for Israel at the time of their submissiveness unto God: He made him
ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the
fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the
flinty rock; Deuteronomy 32:13.
From You to God:
Almighty God daily fill my heart with Joy and rejoicing in Jesus’s name.
Application: make
rejoicing always a regular habit.
Footnote: Rejoice
in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
6.0 God Will Rejoice Over You with Joy
Opening
Verse: The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is
mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his
love, he will joy over thee with singing. Zephaniah 3:17
Bible
Text: Zephaniah 3:13-20

Texts: Gen 1:31; 17:1; 18:14; Num 14:8; Deut 30:9; Ps 24:8-10; 149:4; Jer 29:11-14; 32:41; 33:9; Isa 9:6-7; 12:2; 62:4-5; 65:19; Zep 3:5; Lk 15:5-6, 23-24, 32; John 15:11.
Message
of the Day: The word of God revealed to us, what is the perfect will of God for
man on earth. The Bible also did not keep silent on what can bring contrary
wind against the perfect will of God in the life of man. The book of Prophet
Zephaniah the son of Cushi who prophesized in the days of Josiah, the amiable
king of Judah, addressed powerfully this two extremes life of man on earth
namely, the perfect will of God and the opposite thereof. The perfect will of
God is that you will be to God in joy, in praise and honour. The unchanging
God, our heavenly Father want to always rejoice over you with joy. Our God is
great in love, wonderful in counsel, excellent in works and want to rest in
love over us. This is simply His real desires. Our God want to joy over you
with singing. God want man to be His delight, His pleasure and want that ever
enjoy His nearness.
God
want to be in fellowship with man without destruction. As we scan the Bible, we
see this holy truth popping up whether we are in the Old Testament or the New
Testament. Oh Lord God, let me enjoy what is your perfect will and interest for
man on earth in Jesus’s name. All that oppose to this holy estate, let them
perish out of my life in Jesus’s name. Zephaniah wrote: The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will
save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy
over thee with singing. The Lord is mighty and mightily saves. He mightily
saves all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. With the Lord Jesus Christ, you
can safely say no to all that can rub you of enjoying the perfect plan of God
for man on earth. The Lord want you to enjoy his wonderous works on this side
of eternity. Never be a loser, get God into the center of your life, by the
faith of Jesus Christ, have the mind of Christ, this will lift you into the
platform of His glorious blessings.
God was speaking to Israel through
Zephaniah and quickly alert them of the characteristics of them that will be
blessed with God’s package for man on earth. These are few. Read: The remnant
of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful
tongue. Zephaniah 3:13a. Be counted in the number.
From
You to God: Perfect God, let me enjoy your perfect plan, that maketh thee to
joy over me in Jesus’s name.
Application:
Be a delight and pleasure to God
Footnote: The Lord thy God, is
in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.
7.0 The Lord Messenger In the Lord’s
Message
Opening
Verse: Then spake Haggai the Lord’s messenger in
the lord’s message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the
Lord. Haggai 1:13
Bible
Text: Haggai 1:5-15

Message
of the Day:
Prophet
Hagai truly confirm himself as not only the Lord’s messenger but a minister in
the word of God. His message was profound and still greatly relevant to the
contemporary time. Prophet Hagai passed the test of a true man of God in the
message of God. The Bible says of such minister: For
the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his
mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts. Malachi 2:7. Stand
in the counsel of God to declare the word of God. It is the method of God to
speak through His ministers. He performeth the counsel of His messengers. Hagai
prophesized at the time of the return of Judah from exile. The people were preoccupied with their
personal interest to the neglect of the things concerning God. They were
building eminent houses for themselves but remember not the house of God.
Hagai, the Lord’s messenger in the
Lord’s message came clear with the mind of God. He made them know what they are
suffering was because of the neglect of the house of God. He called the people
to consider their ways. It is good to always examine our life and situations,
that the avoidable be not our portion. Hagai said: Now therefore thus saith the
Lord of hosts; Consider your ways. Ye have sown much and bring in little; ye
eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye
clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to
put it into a bag with holes. Haggai 1:5-6. Consider your ways and
make a solid decision to do what is right, then watch God doing what is right
and great in your life. Get right with God through our Lord and saviour Jesus
Christ. God said He will take pleasure in you and even glorify thee. What a
goodly heritage.
Much is against the people that
neglect the house and service of God, the Lord alerted through Hagai, the
messenger of God in the Lord’s message. They look for much, but they got
little. The little itself got lost, even much more afflictions surfaced. General
drought visited the land. The word of God had effect on the people. They met
the words with obedience, we read: Then Zerubbabel the son of
Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the
remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the Lord their God...., and the
people did fear before the Lord. Haggai 1:12.
From
You to God: Immortal God, let me be sensitive concerning commitment to your
work, house and services in Jesus’s name
Application:
The Lord is with you while ye be with Him

8.0 Be Strong and Work
Opening
Verse: Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the
Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong,
all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and work: for I am with you,
saith the Lord of hosts: Haggai 2:4

Message
of the Day:
Strength
without work is wastage. Work without strength is retardation without progress.
Be strong and work was the word of God to Judah namely Zerubbabel
the governor, and Joshua the high priest and the people. Specifically, the
governor was told to be strong. Leaders need to be strong for occasions do come
to take strong decisions and positions where God matters. God told Joshua be
strong and very courageous. Leadership steps do need courage. If the governor
is to be strong how much more the high priest. The high priest or the man of
God has power with God and man. We are ambassadors of Christ, who has made us
priests and kings before God. Servant of God be strong and do exploit for God.
What is more, the people were also told to be strong. Thy people shall be
willing in the days of your power. Be strong and work, we have the word of God
that He is with us. Jesus said He is with us always. This is true where the
work of God is involved.
I will never leave you nor forsake
you is the covenant of God with labourers in His vineyard. Constantly did the
Lord remind Judah that He is a covenant keeping God. Speaking through prophet
Hagai, He said: According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye
came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not. Haggai 2:5.
The Holy Spirit giving to us abides with us. He dwells in us. He has his
beneficial and diverse operations in us and through us. With the Holy Spirit,
exercise the faith of Jesus Christ without fear. Heavens and earth shall be
shaken, the sea and the dry land even all nations shall be shaken but the
children of God with the spirit of God remain unshaken. Therefore, will not we fear though the
earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the
sea; Psalms 46:2.
The Lord had specific message to
Judah when they turn the attention to rebuilding the temple of God, it is a
message of miraculous blessings even in difficult times. Turn attention to what
pertain to God even in difficult seasons. The miraculous shall attend to you
from all sufficient God. From the day the foundation of the temple was laid,
God said he will bless them.
From
You to God: Silver and gold belongs to
you oh Lord, give to me to turn to you and receive your abundance in Jesus’s
name.
Application:
The glory of the latter shall be greater than the former.
Footnote: From this day will I
bless you says the Almighty.

Message
of the Day:
Enormous and diverse are the things
that can be accomplish in one day. Defer not till tomorrow what can be
accomplish today. Each day presents innumerable opportunities not only
worldwide but that which touch eternity. And one opportunity can make a lifetime
difference. Do this simple exercise, list in details, the things you do in just
one day. We will not be surprised if you yourself get surprised with your list.
“Today is the day of salvation” is a statement that must be explored in
personal life and in communication to the living. If you are not saved, make
sure you are saved today, for tomorrow might be too late. Wherefore as the Holy
Ghost saith, to day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in
the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: Hebrews 3:7-8.
Salvation is the matter of urgency, accept Jesus, forever as your Lord and
saviour.
Felix the Romain governor was one man
that kept on deferring his day of salvation. He made himself strange to the
urgency of bowing to the truth. Felix was the sitting governor before whom Paul
defended himself against the acquisitions of the Jews. Felix was described as
one that have more perfect knowledge of the way while then was, he not a
converted soul. His heart was hardened. This is what deferring the day of
salvation causes. It produces unrepentant heart, and a heart yielded to things
contrary to God. The Bible said: And when Felix heard these things, having more
perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias
the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
Acts 24:22. Another Felix we must not be. This was the same Felix who was
expecting bribe from Paul, the man of God. Shun bribe and vices in life.
Governor Felix and his wife Drusilla
had Paul preached to them, the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. They heard but
there is nothing to show that they turn to Jesus for salvation. Felix was
arrested by the syndrome of deferment till tomorrow. Many are still in those
stations today. Let unbeliever be warm that tomorrow might be too late. Felix
trembled at the word but submitted not to the word. And as he (Paul) reasoned of
righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered,
go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for
thee. Acts 24:25. Hear and believe.
From
You to God: God of eternal salvation,
let me never defer matters of eternity till tomorrow in Jesus’s name.
Application:
Today is the day of the precious salvation, tomorrow might be too late.
Footnote: Today you hear His
voice, harden not your heart.

Salvation Pulls Out of Fire
Opening Verse: And
others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the
garment spotted by the flesh. Jude 1:23
Bible Text: Jude 1:16-25

Message of the Day:
Salvation is most
important. It is the utmost on this side of eternity. Salvation saves from
sins. Living in sin makes a person an enemy of God. Love of sin is hatred of
God with its dare consequences in this world and the world to come. It is a
fearful thing to fall into the hands of God. sin maketh to end in the midst of
unquenchable fire. Salvation therefore means pulling out of fire. Of course the
fire is not ordinary. Fear God, salvation is what the only begotten son of God
brought into the world. His name is Jesus for Him shall save His people from
their sins. And the gift of God is eternal life i.e. salvation through Christ
Jesus. The Bible says: And others save with fear, pulling them out of
the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Jude 1:23. The fire in
the world is a sample far being near the fire of hell and the lake of fire. May
we never be a victim of the three types of fire namely, fire on earth, fire in
hell and fire in the lake of fire.
The Bible said and others save with fear. Salvation is
our ministry and ministration to others. When you hate the garment spotted by
the flesh, you certainly not want it to be a lot of others. In the Old
Testament, garment spotted by the flesh are garments invested with leprosy,
such garments are burn with fire. Put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no
provision of the flesh to fulfil the lost thereof. Let us take reaching others
for Christ our business and mandate from God, for there shall be eternal reward.
A sinner saved gladdens the heart of God. Saving others is our strongest
partnership with God. It is love of God in practice. Ignore scoffers. Sit not
in the assembly of the scornful. These are murmurers, complainers, walking
after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words,
having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. Jude 1:16.
There shall be last days mockers, who will walk after
their own ungodly lust. What then do you do, build up yourself on your most
holy faith. This is the ministry to yourself. Work on yourself daily to become
strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Praying in the Holy Ghost,
make the Holy Ghost your strongest partner in the life of prayer. Remember
prayer is the key. Nothing takes the time of our Lord Jesus Christ like prayer.
Confirm this personally from the word of God.
From You to God: The lost are crying, Lord God makes me your
instrument in saving others in Jesus’s name.
Application: Be
different to make a difference for Christ on earth.

of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Our Commission and Mision Paul As Example
Opening Verse: To
open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from
the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and
inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. Acts 26:18
Bible Text: Acts 26:16-23
More Texts: Psa 119:18; 146:8; Isa 9:2; 29:18; 32:3; 35:5; 42:7; 49:6; 60:1-3; Mal 4:2; Matt 4:16; Luk 4:18; 24:45; Jon 9:39; Act 9:17-18; 13:47; 26:23; 2Cor 4:4, 6; Eph 1:18.
Message of the Day:
The commission of Paul was very clear and sure. It was a
direct commission by the Lord Jesus Christ himself. He was ordained for the
gospel. He was a choice of Christ to take the gospel to the nations of the
Gentiles. The Lord commissioned Paul to be a minister and witness in the work
of the gospel. The commission was a great encounter that make Paul never to
remain the same. The Lord spake unto Paul: But rise, and stand upon thy feet:
for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a
witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the
which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and from
the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
Acts 26:16-17. From the point of commission, Paul life never remain the
same again, he never looks back. The arduous journey not withstanding. He was
committed to fulfilling his calling and mandate.
If the commission of Paul was exceedingly definite, his
mission was more. We can call it seven folds mission. Let us compose the
seven-fold mission which is specifically ministry to the people and
Gentiles. 1) To open their eyes. 2) To
turn them from darkness. 3) And to turn them to light. 4) To deliver them from
the power of Satan. 5) And to bring them to God. 6) To make forgiveness of sins
a reality in their life. 7) And to establish their inheritance among the saints
i.e. those that are sanctified by the faith in Christ. The commission and the
mission were truly divine. Paul described it as heavenly vision. He said he was
not disobedience to the heavenly vision. Paul was given his testimonies before
Governor Festus and king Agrippa II. We need to be reminded that Agrippa I was
the Herold that was eaten live by worms.
Upon his commission certainty of his mission, Paul
started his ministry with utmost earnestness. Paul said: But shewed first unto
them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea,
and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and
do works meet for repentance. Acts 26:20. His presentation was awesome and
captivating. His testimony was great. He spake of his works as evidence of his
testimony. He said: Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this
day, witnessing both to small and great. Acts 26:22a.
From You to God: Lord God give to me to relentlessly present
the gospel both to the small and great all around the world in Jesus’s name.
Application: Gospel
totally liberates and presents for everlasting life.
Footnote: Jesus rose from the
death to show light to the people and the Gentiles.

Workers Work Miracles in Jesus Name Examples at Melita
Opening Verses: And the
barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and
received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold. Acts 28:2
Bible Text: Acts 28:1-10
More Texts: Gen 3:1; Lev 19:18, 34; Num 21:6-7; Psa 91:13; Pro 24:11-12; Mtt 10:42; Mar 16:17-18; Luk 10:30-37; 13:2; Jon 7:24; 9:1-3; Act 27:44; Rom 1:14; 2:14-15, 27 ; 1Cor 14:11; 2 Cor 11:25-27; Col 3:11; Heb 10:34; 13:2.
Message of the Day:
Before they step on the soil of the Island of Melita,
and while they were on the Island of Melita and from their departing from the
Island it was story of miracles galore. 276 souls on board the ship. Everyone
escaped to the Island while the ship perish in entirety. The souls of these men
were preserved by uncommon move of God. Paul was one of the occupants of the
totally wrecked ship. The God of Paul was not sleeping. The safety of all
occupants were as the Lord told Paul through His angel. God will never sleep
over your case in Jesus’s name. The Barbarous people of the Island showed the
people great kindness. Caring for 276 people including centurium, soldiers,
sailors, Paul and other prisoners could be overwhelming. Yet, the Barbarians
litigated the harshness of cold and rain on this sudden influx. Pleasing God
brings pleasing results, may this be our testimony in Jesus’s name.
Paul carried anointing from Christ Jesus. The Lord said
concerning us His disciples: They shall take up serpents; and if
they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on
the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:18. Deadly viper could not hurt Paul
on the Island of Melita, compare what this fearing serpent wrecked among the
Israelites in the wilderness, because they sinned. Paul has explosive healing
ministry on the Island, starting from the father of Publius, the chief man of
the Island. Children of God, wherever you find yourself, you are not ordinary.
You are in the world to work the work of Christ. Remember the did of Publius,
the chief man of the Island, for three days he longue Paul and others. He was a
hospitable man. He and his people did not miss their rewards. Some have
entertained strangers unaware. Use hospitality with one another. It is the
Lord’s will.
The final event
before the departure from the Island of Melita was truly eventful. They step on
the Island with nothing in their hand, haven lost all and even the sheep to the
ranging sea. At their departure, they were given abundance. God is not limited
in our hour of needs, thus we read: Who also honoured us with many honours; and
when we departed, they laded us with such things as were necessary. Acts
28:10. Our God cannot be limited. He forgeteth not the cry of the humble. Bring
your vessel not a few. God is able to fill your empty vessel to overflowing.
From You to God: Oh
thou, unlimited God, let your miracles accompany my life at all times in Jesus’s
name.
Application: The child of God is loaded to be use of God.
Footnote: Judge not according
to the appearance but judge righteous judgment.
Conclusion
God has the best and the highest
manner of love towards us who are his children. Gloriously and amazingly we are
workers together with God. We have a mission on earth, call it His Mission.
This we must attend to with zest and zeal in this world of godlessness. Behold, what manner of love the Father hath
bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world
knoweth us not, because it knew him not.1 John 3:1. Our bible study
outline, with workers together with God is centrally focused on waking us up to
live our life to fulfil our mission on earth.
Our labour shall be
rewarded in this world and in the world to come. For
we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may
receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath
done, whether it be good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10.Our labour on
earth must be attended to all the day of our lives, that at the end of the day
we shall emerge as an overcomer that inherit all things. The lord Jesus Christ
is there for us at all times. With him and for him, we shall fulfil our mission
on earth.
Workers together with
God, this bible study outline is for you. Use the outline for personal bible
study. Use with for family bible study to raise champions equipped to work
together with God. Use it for group bible study. It is the perfect will of God
that we fulfil our mission on earth.
