CHILLING COLD-BLOODED MURDER
Royal
Princess Oluwatayo, Mama Leke departed this temporary, evil and wicked world to
eternal glory to be and reign with the Lord Jesus Christ whom she fervently and
ardently loved to the end. For we know that if our earthly house of this
tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with
hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 Corinthians 5:1 (KJV)
Mama Leke was strong in mind, character and faith. We
enjoined our great contributions to Christ Peoples Assembly. When her family
moved to a location of long distance to any of the branches of Christ Peoples
Assembly, she joined the Redeem Christian Church of God for regular worship, but
she is always present in our programs. She served regularly as interpreter and
also as Minister of the word of God. There was a significant development, which
she pioneered in our church. Every year she will pay her first fruit offering into
the church, she did this for a number of years, at a time when first fruit
offering was not a practice in Christ Peoples Assembly. We then invited her to
our ministers conference to come and teach us on the first fruit. She presented
a well articulated paper on first fruit. Thereafter, the church has since
adopted first fruit offering as practice. This remain a great blessing to the
church today. Mama Leke is a giver, regularly will she give out her industrial
product particularly to my family. As at the time of her move to glory her
industrial product was in use in our house, we even have unopened one with us.
She was a trained teacher. In those early days when my
family was raising up our children, she was engaged to teach them. We are glad
today for the wonderful success we recorded on our children. We are therefore
not surprised that all her own children turned out to be wonderful success. She
was a woman of spartan discipline.
The word of God makes us to know in a reassuring way that we
should not carry sorrow of heart over them that went into glory: But I would
not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that
ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 1 Thessalonians 4:13 (KJV).
Life here is too brief, love not the world. Let us treat our
sojourn here on earth as exceeding temporary. David said, ‘there is but a step between
me and death’. The chilling cold-blooded murder of Royal Princess Oluwatayo,
reminds us of the truthfulness of David’s declaration. Let all of us be
prepared for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in a resounding way.
We greet our dear brother, Pastor Michael Oluwatayo and the
children. The comfort of the Holy ghost take over in your life in Jesus name.
We greet the churches: The Redeem Christian Church Of God and Christ Peoples
Assembly. The Lord encourage all of us. We greet the entire family of Pastor
and Mrs Oluwatayo. Solace from God be your portion in Jesus name.
From, Rev Samuel O Oluwatunbi
Mission President
Christ Peoples Assembly.
