Message of the Day: Launch into the study of the word with prayers. Prayers before study bring you into Holy Ghost partnership and the presence of His holiness. Your eyes of understanding will be opened, and He that said call upon Me, I will answer you, He that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, He that says ask and you shall receive, will show you great and mighty things as you study the precious word of God. Pray to study the word. You will be led into the secret place of the Lord where divine secrets are made open. Open your study with one or more or even all these prayer points:
Everlasting Father, the mighty and holy God, I am most grateful unto You for the life-changing encounter that awaits me in the study of Your word in Jesus name. 2Cor 3:8. Your word is life and spirit, I say blessed be Thy name for this holy privilege to study Your word in Jesus name. Jn 6:63
I am positioned to meditate upon Your word; thank You for this shall bring me to the blessing of the blessed of Your word in Jesus name. Psa 1:3
By Your word O Lord, show me great and mighty things that lead into higher ground in the mighty name of Jesus. Jer 33:3

INTRODUCTION
The bible is a book of miracles. It start with miracles. As you navigate this holy scriptures, the God of miracles manifest miracles and wondrous work all through. Significantly miracles are generously and largely for man. it is interesting that Gods miracles for man carry dual part: The part played by man and the part played by God.
The centurion had faith for his servant to be healed matt 8:5-8. The woman with the issue of blood touch the hem of Jesus garment and became heal .she played her part and God healed her from years of infirmity matt9:20-21; Many also touch the hem of His garment and get heal matt14:36. Play your part and get your miracles for God will not fail to play His parts . Stubborn evil sprit can not be expel except by fasting and prayer.mark9:29
The lame man at Lystra had faith to be healed Acts 14:8-10.Have faith in God, all things are possible if you believe.

1.0 I AM WITH THEE

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
Look at what God as you to do and much he we do in return . one key thing to keep in mind is what the faithful, able, loving and unchanging God said, "I will be with thee." Hold it dear in your heart and cherish this holy truth in your heart that as child of God in Christ Jesus it is the everlasting will of God not to forsake you or leave you. Jesus Christ your ever Emmanuel-God with us.
God said, "I will be with you, I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my right hand of righteousness" Cling unto God in the faith of Jesus Christ. Delight in God and He will delight in you and grant you the desires of your heart. Let Him be your joy even your exceeding joy. Psa. 43:4.This year be a friend of God. In this world ruled by greed and fear be different and make a difference. The Bible says, "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me" Heb 13:5-6
In the wilderness God assured Moses, "My presence shall go with thee and I will give thee rest" Heb 13:5-6 . The same God is our Father who did not spare His only begotten Son but gave him for us all how much more will not he freely give us all thing. I will be with thee is God assurance for you. The presence of God will make the whole lot of difference in your life. The testimony of Joseph was full and complete. Why? The Bible recorded again and again that God was with Joseph. You are not ordinary because God is with you. This adopt the David recommendation, "Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us" Psa. 62:8
To continue to experience His presence with its unlimited possibilities do always those things that please Him. Hear what our Lord and Saviour Jesus said "And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. John 8:29. This year take delight in reaching other for Christ. Move all in love for the word of God.
From You to God: Almighty God let me enjoy your heavenly presence continually this new year in Jesus’s name Amen.
Application: Confess with confidence that, "God is with me I will delight in Him everyday in Jesus name"

2.0 WORD OF GOD

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
The word of God will make you wiser than your enemies. It will give you understanding more than all your teachers. The ancient are reputed for wisdom but the word of God will lift you to higher understanding than the ancients. Psa. 119:98-100.
In this world where sickness is ravaging many lives, it is comforting to know that the word of God heals and sustains health. It is health to all our flesh so declared the Holy Spirit. He sent His word and healeds them and delivered them from all their destructions.Psa.107:20, Prov 4:22. He is God that healeth us. He said that I will put none of these diseases upon thee which I have brought upon the Egyptians. He said I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall none any be barren among you. The number of thy days I will fulfill. God did it for Abraham, He will do it for you in Jesus name.
The Bible spoke of the comfort of the Scriptures. Turn to the Bible for comforts. It is joy and rejoicing for believers. It delivers, elevating gladness. No wonder David spoke of the word of God as his meditation all the day. You will do well to adopt this method of David. Read the word. Study the word. Meditate on the word. Retain the word. Practice its precepts. Memorise its contents. Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against Thee. Psa. 119:11. Cherish the word. Hear the word. Speak the word. Become biblical and go biblical. This word is hammer and fire breaking carnal hardness of the heart and consuming the rags of iniquity.
The word is the building block of our faith. Rom 10:17. Search the scriptures. This singular act distinguishes the Berean Christians. Acts 17:11. Let the word of God give you the leading edge in negotiating and navigating life’s journey. Above all, be an uncommon and profoundly settled doer of the word. Great rewards have they who are committed accordingly. The word is the great unfading and ever-increasing asset that Jesus our Lord left for us. This word is Life and Spirit. This word creates. Keep it ever with you and that in your hearts. Men of God across ages found the word sweeter than honey and honeycomb. To the true child of God this word is better than thousands of gold and silver. Psa. 119:72. Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2Tim. 2:15.
From You To God: Holy and faithful God, earnestly do I pray today, give me a heart focused on the word of God in Jesus name.
Application: Make it a habit to memorise the word of God as a regular habit. The word must not depart out of thy mouth.

3.0 ANSWER PROMISED

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
The Bible is a book of God’s promises. A very good portion of these promises have to do with answer to prayers. A key purpose why we commit ourselves to prayer is to have results. Seriously speaking you must refuse purposeless prayer. Take sustained interest in the promises of God on Prayers. Delight much the word-based prayer. Whenever you want to pray, call to mind the promises of God; hold same by faith as you pray. Let your faith stand upon the promises. That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Heb. 6:12 (KJV). Feed yourself with the promises of God regularly. The promises of God are covenant of God with man. God is ever a covenant keeping God. Believe and confess same continually. The Promises plus Prayer plus Faith plus Confessions equal results. Prayer works. Faith works. There is miracle for you in a life given to prayers. Pray without ceasing. Graciously, our God is the same yesterday, today and forever. The Almighty God watches over His word to perform it.
Here are some of the promises: Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:12-13. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jer. 33:3 (KJV)
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Matt. 7:7 (KJV) For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Rom. 10:12-13.
And I say unto you, ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Luke 11:9-10. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14.
A faithful child of God stands faithfully by the promises of God and watches the faithful God fulfilling His promises. His promises are Yea and Amen in the Lord Jesus Christ. Always pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. God will not sleep over your case.
From You To God: Oh God of promises, fulfill your promises in my life in Jesus name.
Application: List seven promises of God on prayers from the Bible and use the same to pray.

4.0 GRAETEST GIFT
Opening Verse: He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Rom. 8:32

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
Gifts given by mortals will perish in this world. Gifts of this world are given to others mostly if they merit them. The world asserts that there is no free food even in Freetown.
God’s gift is different. There is no basis for comparison. God gave us His only begotten Son to save us from eternal destruction. God's Son is the climax of God's gifts. He gave Him to us out of His mercy not because we merit it. He gave Him when we do not deserve the unusual favour absolutely. Listen to the Holy Spirit, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” Rom. 5:6-10
It is the uncompromising determination of God that we perish not. God did not appoint us for destruction but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1Thess. 5:9. Jesus gave Himself a ransom for all, for our heavenly Father wished all to be saved. 1Tim 2:4-5. Jesus Christ the greatest gift to humanity paid the supreme sacrifice to deliver us from the corruption that is in this world. Gal 1:4. Sin is the greatest calamity that befell this world and Jesus is the greatest gift for this world. His name shall be Jesus for He came to save His own from their sin. Matt. 1:21.
Do yourself the greatest favour by receiving the greatest favour from the greatest God. This is the best gift from Him. God did not wish anyone to perish. In His Son Jesus Christ we have name that is above all names. Believe in Christ Jesus and be saved eternally. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son. John 3.16.
Stand up and be counted among the number. In Him is life and the life is the light of men and the light shineth in darkness and darkness can not overcome Him. Stay in Jesus now and forever. In Him you will never work in darkness. In Him is power to become sons of God. In Him is eternity to gain. Praise God for Jesus. Amen and Amen.
From You to God: Heavenly Father, keep me perfectly that I will not miss heaven in Jesus name.
Application: Every day practice praising God for Jesus His greatest gift to humanity. Psa. 34:1

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
Dr John Edmund Haggai wrote: From birth, both Mother and Dad instilled in me a powerful work ethic. They taught me by precept and example. To this day, I have little patience with indolence. I believe that any effort to escape honest toil is rebellion against God. Work was not a curse imposed by the fall of man. God assigned work to man before the fall. The Bible says nothing about five working days per week. Man came up with these discipline-destroying, character-eroding travesties. I shake my head in disbelief when I hear union leaders. They put in a 70-80-hour week. Yet they fight for a 32 or 35-hour work week with a five-week annual holiday for their members. Every time I pick up a copy of Matthew Henry's Commentary, I think of this man who spent hours every day for 40 years putting together probably the most widely used set of commentaries in history. He wrote in the 1600s. He had no typewriter, no fax machine, no photocopy machine, no major libraries such as we enjoy, no computer, no word processor, no thesaurus or word-finder. Yet the man was used of God to influence the world in subsequent generations simply on the foundation of his relationship with the Lord. He worked - and worked hard.
The moment Francis Xavier came to Christ, he felt not a moment could be lost. He set out at once to tell the world, from his own lips, the story of redeeming love. He traverse through the world until his limbs were swollen and his nerves were numb. He evangelized in India. One day, he moved amidst the dazzling spread of the oriental palace; the next, he paid court to a rajah and his native staff. On the third day, he moved among the filthy huts of the fisher folks of Malabar. Every place he stopped, he told, with agony and tears, his wondrous tale. Ridiculed, stoned, persecuted, he pressed tirelessly on, always uplifting the cross with his right hand, and with his left, ringing the bell, summoning the people to attend. Having made converts and planted churches, he did not lose an hour, but hurried off in search of fresh fields to add to his conquest. He laboured for 21 hours out of every 24. In the course of ten short years, he learned and preached in 20 different languages! He made the greatest impact for Christ in Japan's history. The ten years from his conversion to his death,he administer the most stinging rebuke to apathy and laziness that was ever found in the annals of Christian history.
From You To God: O Lord, make me industrious in Jesus name.
Application: Abandon lackadaisical attitude to duty.

6.0 LOVE OF GOD
Opening Verse: And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 1 John 4:16

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
God is Love. Write this with a diamond pen on the table of your heart. God is Love personified. God is love, and He loves you so dearly as no mortal can love you. This truth only scares the devil and he will do everything to prevent anyone from knowing it. And this is one truth the Holy Spirit wants everyone on earth to know. Every action of God is from a pedestal of love. Before He created man He created all that man will ever need and even more than man will ever need.
Love is the number one virtue that God wants man to know about Him. God spoke "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD." Jeremiah 9:23-24.
Glory that you know God as a God of loving kindness. This virtue of God ranks above His virtues of judgement and righteousness. Praise God for His love for humanity. Praise and honour Him for His love for you. Live to love Him who first loved us. The Bible says: "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God" 1 John 3:1. Are you a child of God? Then know and believe today the love that God has towards you. Varying circumstances of life must not dictate to you the opposite. God who gave His only begotten Son that man may not perish is the perfect God that loves perfectly. No one loves you like God. That is why in Him all things work together for good.
This loving God can never forget you. ‘Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. Isaiah 49:15-16. Rejoice in the holy and faithful God today that He can never forget you. He can never forsake you. He will never sleep or slumber over you and what concerns you. Enter into His love by Christ Jesus, His perfect and greatest gift to the planet earth.
From You To God: God the Holy Spirit, shed abroad my heart today the love of God who loves eternally in Jesus name. Rom 5:5
Application: Today and always, demonstrate your love for God by maintaining an obedient heart to God.

7.0 PEACE FOR YOU
Opening Verse: Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26:3

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
God has given us the formula to enjoy peace, even perfect peace. This is peace at its peak. We are talking of peace that cannot be quenched, peace above all understanding, peace like a river, peace that brings the duality of laughter and new songs. Phil 4:7.
God’s formula for peace like most of His formula is not only simple, but like air, it is available. The word is near your mouth, the Lord says. Roman 10:8-11. To know and enjoy peace, keep your mind stayed on God. Keep looking unto Jesus is the formula. Peter was walking on water in a feat never known to man. How did he do it? He was looking unto Jesus. The moment he removed His eyes from Jesus and looked down on the problem he began to sink. The boisterous wind was about to swallow him. Are you faced with the boisterous wind of life? Are you troubled or already in fear by the circumstances of life? Set your eyes upon Jesus. Let your heart rest upon Jesus. Our God is bigger than any problem. Joyfully and confidently let all that is within you centre on Jesus. He is our peace forever and ever. Cast your burden upon Jesus. Do you know He will never suffer the righteous to be moved? No power can challenge peace in Christ Jesus.
Focus your soul, spirit and entire being on Jesus. Matt 14:29-30; Heb 12:2
Do you know Jesus is our peace? Peace is your heritage in Christ. In Him is peace that lasts for evermore. Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27.
The formula is simple. The Bible says God will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed upon Him. Your mind is the centre of your emotions. It is also the expression of your thinking faculty. It is your silent personality. It is the fastest point to attack for the devil. It is the easiest platform of land where diverse undesirable weeds grow wildly hence there must be a strong form of tendering and watering to keep off the unwanted growths. The Bible says "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." Proverbs 4:23. To aid you powerfully in this exceedingly beneficial task of keeping your heart, practice occupying your heart with the eight seeds of greatness recommended by the Holy Ghost in Philippians 4:8.
From You To God: God of Peace, enrich my life with peace that passes all understanding in Jesus. Amen.
Application: Focus your heart daily on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, good report, virtues and praises - eight golden seeds of peace. See Phil 4:7-8
Foot Note: Perfect peace comes from the perfect God.
8.0 BUT GOD MEANT IT UNTO GOOD

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
Joseph gave this testimony: "But God meant it for good." Gen 50:20. This was Joseph who at home suffered hatred and discrimination from his blood brothers who were supposed to love him more than any other. Gen. 37:4. At seventeen he was sentenced to death by these same brothers on the ground that they would not allow his dream to come to pass. Death sentence was commuted to slavery and so Joseph was sold as a slave to the itinerant Ishmaelites who in turn sold Joseph into slavery in Egypt. Joseph was lied against by his master's wife for attempted rape. For this crime in which he was totally innocent he was sentenced to prison. His was imprisoned without number of years specified. Joseph was a slave sold as slave and finally jailed without trial. Psa. 105:17-24. Bad experiences for a man who was dedicated to God in unbroken relationship from his youthful days. The verdict of man would be if Joseph faced all these trauma, then God can not be in his life. But Joseph’s verdict and confession was that God meant it for good. When Joseph’s time came, things changed dramatically for good. All things work together for good to them that love God. His cleaving to God paid beyond his dreams. Praise the Lord. Remember this truth as a child of God, who is redeemed by the blood of Jesus (Rev 5:9), that all things work together for good.
While sending the Israelites into captivity in Babylon God told them "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Jeremiah 29:11. In the various experiences of life the thought of God towards you can only for be good. Use every experience in life to draw close to God and He will draw closer to you. James 4:8
Joseph never looked back from God. No wonder his life fulfilled the purpose of God. He said, "And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance." Genesis 45:7.
Looking back from Christ will mean fulfilling the purpose of Satan. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. Hebrews 10:38. Count yourself among the just saved by grace who will not look back but insist that God meant everything for good. This is the way to fulfil His purpose in your life. You will make it in Jesus name. MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
God promotes. It is His perfect will to lift up. He has the power, He has the resources, He has the interest and He has all the capacities not to fail. Recognise Him today as God that promotes who will promote you to excellent heights. God has nothing against your promotion but everything for your lifting. Head and not the tail is your portion. For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. Psalm 75:6-7.
Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. 1 Chronicles 29:11-12.
As a child of God who is the beloved of God you have access unto Him who has power to make great. Our Lord taught us to ask in order to receive. This is a great privilege for believers. Promotion comes from God. He makes great spiritually, physically, mentally, materially and in any and all realm of life. He is God. Ask Him to step in and promote you as only God can do it. Ask Him to promote you, your family, your church or ministry and more as only God can do it. Great is our God who makes great. He promotes greatly.
Promotion does not come by wandering. It does not come from the east, or west, or south. True, lasting, satisfying and blessed promotion come from God. For your promotion Jesus is the answer. He is the all sufficient One.
Completely refuse the worldly option to reach the top. With Jesus Your promotion is sure He said if ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. Praise the Lord. Seek your promotion from on high. You will be blessed from on high. From the sanctuary is the help for the helpless, is strength for the weak and new song for the weary, the Lord bringeth up from the miry clay. We pray for you today that the Lord will promote you in Jesus name. With Him the sky is not even the limit.

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
Hannah came to Shiloh a troubled and worried soul. In Shiloh she wept and would not eat. 1 Sam 1:10. In desperation, the husband asked why her heart was grieved. It was in this state she prayed. The Bible recorded “And she was in bitterness of soul and prayed unto the Lord and wept sore.” 1 Sam 1:10. This seems to be Hannah’s annual ritual in Shiloh. Eli the priest concluded this time around that Hannah was drunk. He did not give Hannah any chance before his conclusion: “Put away thine wine from thee”. Eli probably roared. 1 Sam. 1:14.
A transition happened after the conversation between Hannah and Eli. Yes, Hannah explained herself: “I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink but have poured out my soul before the Lord. Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.” 1 Sam 1:15-16
Eli the priest of God spoke: “Go in peace.” What a great counsel! Hannah was asked to stop worrying and start living. This same counsel come to you today: Go in peace. Outlaw worry, be careful for nothing, take no thought of your life, take no thought of tomorrow, go in peace. 1 Sam 1:17.
The Bible recorded: “So the woman went away and did eat and her countenance was no more sad.” That is the miracle before the miracle.
Hannah decided to outlaw worry then, though at that moment nothing had changed by way of physical circumstances, but the hold and power of worry was broken in Hannah's life. Faith soared in her. 1 Sam 1:18.
What lesson can you now learn from Hannah’s experience? Worry is dangerous, worry produces bitterness, complaining and faithlessness; worry is easily exploited by the enemy.1 Sam 1:6.
In Hannah’s life, faith swallowed worry and the desired miracle and expectations became a reality and manifestation.
When you stop worrying, your miracle is on the way. When you stop worrying you have the liberty to start living. Your worry is the joy of your enemy. Stop worrying and this satanic arrow shall turn back to the enemy. Your joy is the sorrow of your enemy. Therefore, allow faith to bring joy to your soul. The faith of Jesus Christ is your ever settled help. The Holy Spirit that spoke to Hannah through the priest of God is speaking to you: “Go in peace.” 1 Sam 1:17. Stop worrying; tell it to Jesus whose love for you is everlasting who has His life for your victory unto eternity. Tell it to Jesus. He is praying for you.
From You To God: I cast my cares upon Thee my God; break forever the power of worry in my life in Jesus name.
Application: Refuse your point of worry now; cast it upon Jesus and leave it there.

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
Paul wrote in the conclusion of his ministry, "I have fought a good fight." “Wage a good warfare”, Paul admonished Timothy. Christian life is a war against the devil, the flesh, the world and sin. It is a battle to rescue the soul from hell. Jude 23.
Soldiers fight war. Certainly a good soldier will not pray that he will not see battles and fight battles. Battles distinguish soldiers. Without battle there is no victory and there is no winner. Great testimonies, heroes and heroines are made out of battles.
Victories in battles bring gains, rewards and spoils of war. 2Chron. 20:24-32; Rev 21:7
A good soldier of Christ fights a good fight. A good soldier of Christ you must be. A gallant of Christ you must be. Strive to be on the battle lane. Our God is a man of war; the Lord is His name. The horse rejoices at the battle. Be in the battle gear with the whole amour of God.
The Holy Ghost spoke: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Eph. 6:10-11 (KJV) Timothy was not afraid of war but was counselled to war a good warfare. 1 Tim. 1:18.
Battles and wars must not scare a good soldier. He is a vessel unto honour in the hand of the Most High. He is sanctified, meet for the master’s use and prepared unto every good work. Don’t forget it is God that fights our battles. Wars, battles, trumpet of warfare do not scare the horses. The Bible says of the horse, "Can you frighten him like a locust? His majestic snorting strikes terror. He paws in the valley and rejoices in his strength. He gallops into the clash of arms. He mocks at fear and is not frightened. Nor does he turn back from the sword. The quiver rattles against him, the glittering spear and javelin. He devours the distance with fierceness and rage. Nor does he come to a halt because the trumpet has sounded. At the blast of the trumpet he says aha. He smells the battle from afar, the thunder of captains and shouting. Job 39:20-24
A good soldier of Christ will not be the fearful locust but the fearless horse that mocks at fear. "Be strong and of good courage" is the Lord's specific instruction to all He called to do exploits for Him.
A good soldier of Christ will not have divided loyalty and thank God Jesus is there to fight for you for total victory.
From You To God: O Lord God, arise and fortify me. Let no enemy be able to stand before me all the days of my life in Jesus name.
Application: With Christ, resolve to overcome all besetting sins in your life.

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
The Lord wants you to know that it is not a question of whether or not promotion will ever come your way. Surely it will come. The question is when? God in His wisdom determines when. Your promotion will come. For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. Romans 11:36. Your promotion will come we say again. Even the very poor has hope in Him. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people. Psalm 113:7-8. Your lifting up will come. The end of Job was glorious in the superlative dimensions. And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. Job 42:10. Your promotion will come. It is in His power to make great. He giveth power to get wealth. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. He will not forget you.
Our concern today, is when promotion comes what do you do? First, recognize that it is from God and turn to Him for how best you can use your lifting up to serve Him and be more useful to Him. We see what the promotion of Joseph brought to the world and the people of God.
Mordecai was one man we can learn from when his promotion came. The Bible recorded of him: For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed. Esther 10:3. The unknown Mordecai, the Jew in captivity and an ordinary man at Shushan the palace became greatly elevated. This is the Lord’s doing and He is still in the business of doing the same today. The promotion of Mordecai brought promotion to the people of God. The greatness of Mordecai brought greatness to the stock of His children. When heavens favour you, let the children of God become favoured. When heaven opens for your elevation and greatness, let it affect the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom children. Your good deeds in position of prominence must especially focus on the household of faith. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:10.
From You To God: When my promotion and greatness come, O Lord, let it affect for good the household of God in Jesus name.

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:
When heaven rejoices the earth and eternity benefit. Nothing gladdens the heart of God like souls that return to Him. The entire hosts of heaven are in joyful mood over one sinner that repents. To the merciful and loving God the soul of every man is precious. God does not want anybody to be lost. When the Saviour Jesus was born heaven greatly rejoiced and suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:13-14.
Today you can make heaven rejoice. There is joy in heaven over a sinner who repents. Are you a sinner? Repent and you will make heaven to rejoice. When God uses you to bring a sinner to repentance you make heaven to rejoice. This is one work that attracts heaven and commands reward of everlasting dimensions. You can make heaven to rejoice.
The return, repentance and acceptance of the prodigal son are a great illustration from our Lord to show the waiting arms of God for the sinner that repents. God does not wish anyone to perish. 1Tim 2:4; 1Thes 5:9
Satan continues to deceive that there is lasting pleasure in sin. This was the error the prodigal son fell into. The enemy hides the bitterness in which sin ends. The same error Judas, Gehazi, Demas fell into are what many are falling into today. God is looking for someone who will be different.
Let us look at some features of the prodigal son: Sin, called pleasure by the world, beckoned on him away from the father. No wonder the Bible says love not the world. The world is too temporary to make it the lord of your life. Waste, carelessness, wantonness, riotousness were actively promoted by life away from the Father. The devil promises freedom but ends putting victims in bondage. Plenty affliction awaits sinful living. Luke 15:15-16.
The prodigal son came to himself. When we can do nothing, Jesus can do all things. Examine yourself. An unexamined life will invariably be a wasted life. The prodigal son examined himself. This was the entrance to his conversion and change of condition. The father celebrated greatly. Tell me who will not rejoice for his beloved who was lost and found, dead and came back to life?
God celebrates, rejoices exceedingly, and heavens reverberates with excitement beyond words for a soul converted unto Jesus. The return of a sinner or backslider gladdens the heart of God like no other thing. Lead a soul to Christ and make heaven rejoice and your reward shall be great in heaven.

Your Spirit, Soul and body in Christ and Christ in them. Be married with Jesus in a marriage unbreakable for eternity. Love Jesus. Vote for Jesus. Let the word of Christ dwell in you in a scale no other word can occupy within you. Enjoy Jesus joy. Enjoy Jesus His presence, His power, His faith, His favour, His blessings, His armour, His faithfulness, His glory and finally His everlasting Kingdom. Think Jesus. One hymn says Jesus is our message.
The Lord Jesus Christ. Let Jesus be the Governor of your life and home. Let Him have authority and sovereignty over you. Let talk about Jesus. His name, His blood, His life, His works, His purpose, His death, His resurrection, His ascension, His present preoccupation, His second coming, His miracles, His parables, His office, His brothers, His friends, His mother and mothers, His sisters, Christ in a persons life, what He said about Himself, what others said about Him, His associates, apostles, disciples, His prayers and prayer life, prophecies before His birth, His worldwide ministry, His presence, His power, His omnipotence, His promises, His omnipresence and omniscience.
Begotten and not created. For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given. This is God eternal gift unto man in this world made bastard by the chief bastard the devil. For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through the Lord Jesus Christ.
The government shall be upon His shoulders so ordained the Father. Jesus has broad shoulders to carry the government of your life in its entirety. Give that chance to rule your life twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week all through life here and it shall be well with thee. Let your life be to God be the glory through Jesus.
