GETTING YOUR PURPOSE ESTABLISHED
Opening Verse: Commit thy works unto the
LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Proverbs 16:3

Message of the Day: Think thoughts. Thoughts
are the preambles and sustainer of greatness. Live a purposeful and goal
oriented life. Flood your purpose with thoughts of greatness. The next question
then is how do you get your thoughts established? How does purpose comes on
stream? The answer leads us into secret of success even of mega stature.
Partner with God seriously, earnestly, consistently and continually. The
preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from
the LORD. Proverbs 16:1. For He
is able to do exceeding abundantly than all we ask or think.
Getting purpose established is in partnership with God. It is in the hand
of God to make great the Bible enlightens us. We can even add that it is His
will to make great. He will order your steps into greatness in Jesus name.
Steps are directed of the Lord. A man's heart deviseth his way: but the
LORD directeth his steps. Proverbs 16:9. Prophet Jeremiah also supported
this position in his prophetic messages. He wrote: O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it
is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. Jeremiah 10:23.
Purpose and
let God establish your purpose as you walk intimately with God who can do all
things. A child of God must not be a failure and cannot afford to be a failure.
Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine
heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it
to pass. Psalm 37:4-5.
Get God involved in your works. Get Him involved and He is able to raise
major helps and support that hastens fulfilment of goals. This happened in the
days of Ezra in the arduous task of re-building the temple in Jerusalem. The
Lord raised the reigning king in their land of captivity to take deep interest
in the building project. Ezra blessed the Lord for the unusual development. A
clear case that you are in for a surprise when God is involved. Ezra said: Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, which hath put such
a thing as this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of the LORD
which is in Jerusalem: Ezra 7:27.
Nehemiah had a purpose, a great one for that matter and it became
established in record time but how? He involved God by earnest prayer. This is
what you can do also as a child of God. This is even what you are called to do.
Nehemiah prayed, God answered and purpose became established.
From You to God: Great and faithful God,
release greatness and success into my life in Jesus name.
Application: Purpose and bring God into the
purpose for its establishment.
Foot Note: God does make way into fulfilment
even of great purpose.
